Michael Steele
Founder, Director
I have worked in the IT and cybersecurity sector for over 30 years, advising organisations across enterprise, government, and financial services on technology strategy, cyber risk management, and secure digital transformation. I work closely with business owners, executive leadership teams, and senior stakeholders, providing strategic direction to ensure technology investments, security initiatives, and digital programs are aligned with business objectives, risk appetite, and operational priorities.
I bring deep expertise in cybersecurity architecture, cloud and identity security, and modern workplace platforms, with a strong focus on the Microsoft ecosystem including Azure, Microsoft 365 Defender, Entra ID, and Intune. My work is grounded in recognised security frameworks such as the ASD Essential Eight, NIST, and CIS Controls, enabling organisations to strengthen their security posture, improve resilience, and meet regulatory and governance expectations.
Known for providing clear, independent, and pragmatic advice, I translate complex technical and security risk into business-focused insight that supports informed decision-making. My approach embeds security and risk management by design, helping organisations modernise with confidence, reduce exposure, and build sustainable, resilient digital environments.

I have worked in the cyber security and technology sector for over 20 years, advising organizations on cyber risk management, regulatory compliance, and secure digital transformation. I work closely with boards and executive leadership teams, providing strategic direction to ensure cyber security initiatives, compliance obligations, and technology investments are aligned with organizational objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations.
I bring deep expertise in cyber security governance, compliance regulation automation, and cloud and technology risk management. I am recognized for delivering pragmatic, outcome-driven solutions that reduce cyber exposure, strengthen regulatory assurance, and enhance operational resilience through the effective use of automation and modern technologies.
Known for providing clear, independent advice, I translate complex technical and regulatory risk into business-focused insight, enabling informed decision-making at board level. My approach ensures security and compliance are embedded by design, supporting sustainable growth and long-term resilience in an increasingly regulated and interconnected digital environment.
